So I’m pretty sure that if there is any sort of higher power out there, it’s trying to tell me to stop depending so much on stuff.
In the past two days I’ve managed to lose my sunglasses, my watch … and now an entire carry-on bag.

Apparently Hasard in French does not mean the same thing it does in English. It roughly translates to “random.” As a result, the French-speaking fellows from Rwanda and Burundi love to refer to me by my last name and chuckle a bit while doing so.
Consequently, my blog title means something along the lines of “random times.” Which I’m ok with.
